Why everyone grows it
Money Plant, also called Golden Pothos, is forgiving, fast growing and happy in low light. Many families keep one at home as a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
Light
It does well in bright indirect light and tolerates lower light. Avoid strong direct sun, which can yellow the leaves.
Watering
Let the top of the soil dry slightly between waterings. It also grows well in a jar of water, as long as you change the water regularly.
Training and pruning
Let it trail from a shelf, or train it up a pole or wall. Trim long stems to keep it full, and root the cuttings in water to make new plants.
A note on pets
Pothos leaves can upset pets and children if chewed, so place the plant out of reach.
