Dubai Summer (May–September): Water every 4–6 days to keep the soil evenly moist. Fittonia has a dramatic "fainting" response to underwatering — leaves collapse and droop suddenly — but recovers quickly when watered. While alarming to witness, this drooping is actually a useful indicator in UAE conditions where the warm AC environment can dry soil faster than expected. UAE Winter (October–April): Water every 6–8 days. The Fittonia's fainting behaviour makes it uniquely useful as a self-reporting plant for UAE beginners.
