The palm itself grows slowly to 30 feet or more..And each thick, fan shaped frond can reach 10 feet in diameter.Many people love its fan shape and unique silvery blue coloring. In fact, it is sometimes called the pure silver palm for its distinctive coloring.Its dramatic shape adds a great touch to any landscaping project.The silver bismark palm is one of the few palm trees that has a relatively large root system. The air-permeable soil is preferable, but it also easily tolerates heavy clay soils with the addition of sand and organic materials.It takes bright light up to 5-6 hours a day, direct sun, south, south-west window is suitable.Supplementary lighting in winter is desirable.
