Tramontina Steel Pick Mattock 90cm

Tramontina Steel Pick Mattock 90cm

The Tramontina Steel Pick Mattock 90cm is a heavy-duty digging tool built for breaking up hard, compacted UAE soil, clearing rocks, and cutting trenches. The forged steel head combines a pointed pick end for penetrating tough or rocky ground with a flat mattock blade for chopping roots, levelling beds, and shaping planting areas. It's available in two head sizes, so you can pick the weight that suits the job and the person using it.

Size 4 vs Size 5 — which one do I need?

Size 4 is the lighter of the two heads. It's easier to swing for longer stretches and suits home gardeners, raised beds, and general landscaping work around villas and balcony gardens.

Size 5 has a larger, heavier head that delivers more force per swing. It's the better choice for breaking up compacted or rocky ground, larger landscaping jobs, and use by professional crews and contractors.

Both sizes share the same forged-steel construction and ergonomic handle, so the difference comes down to head weight and the amount of ground you need to move.

Key features

Forged high-carbon steel head for durability and strength. Dual-purpose design: pointed pick end for breaking ground, flat blade end for chopping and levelling. Ergonomically angled handle for a comfortable grip and efficient force transfer, reducing fatigue during extended use. Suited to gardening, landscaping, and light construction work across the UAE.

Care and maintenance

Rinse soil off the head after each use and dry it before storing. In the UAE's coastal humidity, wipe the steel head with a light coat of mineral oil every few weeks to prevent rust, and store the tool in a dry, shaded spot out of direct sun.
